New York, NY (August 29, 2024) – Endeavour Women In Tech (EWIT) is proud to announce this year’s student scholarship recipients. The winners come from across the globe and are all pursuing science and technology degrees at top U.S. universities. This year’s winners are Alice Heiman, Cameron Alexis Silver, Jaidyn Davis, and Kaitlyn Harrington. Each recipient will be awarded $5000 to help their pursuit of college STEM studies.
Endeavour Women in Tech (EWIT) is an employee-driven initiative that was formed to break down barriers and transform the male-dominated world of technology and infrastructure from the inside out.
EWIT President and seasoned leader at Edged Data Centers, Elda Bruza, shared her enthusiasm for this year’s group, saying: “We are thrilled to celebrate the achievements of these outstanding young women. The EWIT scholarships are designed to encourage and support their participation in STEM fields, helping to shift the paradigm towards a more inclusive and equitable environment in technology.”
As scholarship recipient Alice Heiman explained, “I am so grateful for organizations like Endeavour supporting the next wave of young women in technology. I want to use my Computer Science degree to create a world where people, technology, and the planet can coexist in a positive relationship.”

A bit more about this year’s winners:
Alice Heiman
A Swedish national, Alice Heiman arrived at Stanford University with the specific goal to “break into the heart of AI development.” Having just completed her first year studying Computer Science and Public Health she is doing just that. As a member of the Swedish National Team of Young Scientists, Alice has explained the uses of Artificial Intelligence on Swedish National TV, at the UNICEF innovation center, and in various podcasts. She has also shared her journey in and vision for AI at Women in Tech Sweden, local high schools, and the Nobel Prize Week Dialogue.
Cameron Alexis Silver
Recently graduated from Glenelg (MD) High School’s engineering program, Cameron is pursuing a degree in electrical engineering with a minor in computer science at the University of Maryland, College Park. A 2024 national finalist for NASA’s HUNCH program, Cameron’s project focused on engineering a novel way to filter water on the International Space Station to prevent the buildup of biofilms. As a participant at University of Maryland, College Park’s First-Year Innovation & Research (FIRE) program, she will work alongside professors to continue expanding on this research.
Jaidyn Davis
Having graduated from Littleton High School in Colorado, Jaidyn will pursue a degree in Chemical Engineering at the University of Colorado Boulder. She hopes to use her education and skills in chemical engineering to find solutions for the myriad and complex problems of climate change.
Kaitlyn Harrington
Hailing from Pennsylvania, Kaitlyn Harrington completed her first year of studies in computer science and English at Villanova University. She holds a 4.0 as a dean’s list honoree and has been honored as an Amie Dansby Women in Technology National Award recipient, a VIP Women in Technology National Scholar and a McCann STEM National Scholar.
