Endeavour is seeking an innovative and experienced Social Media and Communications Strategist to spearhead our brand-building efforts and amplify our mission through impactful storytelling and engagement across digital channels. As Endeavour's Social Media and Communications Strategist, you'll have the opportunity to shape our social media presence and internal communications strategy based on our mission of providing sustainable infrastructure solutions worldwide.

As the Social Media and Communications Strategist, you will focus on creating and maintaining effective communication channels within the organization. You will play a pivotal role in thought leadership campaigns, collaborating with tech leads to develop compelling internal updates and presentations. This is a high-impact, high-visibility position that offers significant opportunities for learning and growth. You will collaborate with various departments, oversee social media channels, and play a crucial role in both external and internal communication initiatives.

The Social Media and Communications Strategist will report directly to Endeavour’s Marketing Manager, collaborating with our partner marketing firms and with team members across the Endeavour ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive, forward-thinking social media and communications strategy that aligns with Endeavour’s mission, values, and business objectives.
  • Create and curate engaging content (text, images, videos) showcasing Endeavour’s innovative technologies, projects, and impact stories.
  • Establish Endeavour’s brand voice and visual identity for social media channels.
  • Manage and grow social media communities through consistent high-quality content, timely responses, and fostering meaningful conversations.
  • Implement innovative tactics to build and engage online communities, establishing Endeavour as a thought leader in sustainable technologies.
  • Assist in the creation of other communication materials such as press releases, blog posts, newsletters, and presentations to support Endeavour’s overall communications efforts.
  • Create and manage content calendars for both social media and internal communications.
  • Utilize monday.com for project management and collaboration (experience preferred).

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or related field
  • 4+ years of experience in social media management and digital marketing
  • 4+ years of experience in content creation for multiple social media platforms
  • Experience in social media management for B2B companies, nonprofits, or organizations in the sustainability sector
  • Demonstrated experience in executive communications, including developing thought leadership content or strategic messaging for C-suite leaders (Preferred)
  • Familiarity with monday.com (Preferred)
  • Familiarity with Sharepoint management (Preferred)

Specific Skills / Abilities

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives for diverse audiences.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to oversee and manage shared internal communication platforms effectively.
  • Comfortable taking initiative and driving projects forward independently.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful social media strategies.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in internal communications and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (e.g. InDesign/Illustrator)
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
