The Sales Engineer will be a vital member of the leadership team of the North American division of Edged Data Centers. We are seeking a Sales Engineer to work directly with our regional sales and design teams and focus on delivering our highly innovative data center solutions in ways that align with our client’s needs.

The Sales Engineer needs to be an agile, team-focused individual, with proven professionalism, who is comfortable in a rapidly changing environment. The right person is trustworthy with confidential information, highly organized, self-motivated, has excellent communication skills, can think strategically, and works equally as well independently as with a team. • Collaborate with the sales team to understand client requirements and assist in providing Edged data center solutions that align with their objectives.
• Provide technical assistance to sales teams in response to customer RFPs. Respond to technical questions, prepare presentation materials, and attend meetings with potential and existing clients.
• Maintain a deep understanding of Edged's data center products and services to effectively communicate their value to internal and external teams.
• Preparation of technical material including drawings and presentations for communication with potential customers.
• Coordinate with Edged internal engineering, operations and project delivery teams to ensure that agreements with clients are appropriate and effectively managed.
• Provide post-sales technical support to clients, addressing questions, concerns, and assisting in the implementation of future solutions.
• Continuously monitor the competitive landscape and industry trends, providing insights and feedback to help refine Edged product offerings.
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.

• Bachelor's degree in a related Engineering field
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a technical role including data center design, construction, or technical sales. Other relevant experience will be considered.
• Experience in technical sales or sales engineering, preferably in the data center industry.
• Understanding of data center design and critical systems is required.
• Knowledge of hyperscale client design standards and philosophies is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of data center infrastructure, including servers, storage, networking, and virtualization technologies.

• Proficient in the use of design or visualization software (Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam etc.)
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet.
• Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently, as well as part of a team.
• A passion for staying current with the latest technological advancements and industry best practices.
• Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
