The Commissioning Manager will be a vital member of the leadership team of the North American division of Edged Data Centers. We are looking for someone who provides direction and leadership to run the commissioning program at Edged. The commissioning team is responsible for managing the end-to-end delivery of new data center installations, retrofits of existing data centers as well as adding new capacity. In addition, the Commissioning Manager, will oversee workflow across vertically and horizontally teams including project managers to manage schedule expectations, vendor compliance with installation, continuous improvements with asset design and project turn over to the site operational team. The goal is to successfully deliver multi-million-dollar, multi-year data center construction sites.
Responsibilities include Program Management, Definition, and Execution of Data Center Commissioning. The candidate must be agile, professional, and comfortable in a rapidly changing environment. This position requires effective management of commissioning related subcontractors and vendors and is responsible for the daily oversight and management of commissioning projects. Continuously collaborate with architects, engineers, construction managers, network engineers, operations, and finance to streamline and improve delivery of data center capacity. Ensure Commissioning team executes against scope, schedule, and budget to deliver the latest generation of datacenter technology to customers.
